Hold the horses, cowboy!

There is nothing wrong with discussing any company's health-status publicly. But, mixing pure speculation with ill wishing 'bravo sierra' is potentially harmful and I, as an employee of DC Aviation, am not willing to accept that my job is at risk because of that.

The following is quite obvious:
the international financial crisis does affect business aviation as a whole - and DC Aviation is no exception

we did suffer a decline in revenue flights in the past few weeks and

some of our customers are flying less than before.

DC Aviation is far from being bankrupt and the company's owner continues to be committed to its success. This is good and this is reassuring for all of us.

What needs to be done right now is cutting costs and marketing ourselves effectively - besides other measures which do not belong to a public discussion.

We might disagree occasionally about what's right or wrong, but I have no doubt in my mind that this company will not only survive, but be fitter and stronger when the crisis is over.

Difficult times often offer opportunities for improvement and creative solutions.

I have only been in this business about 40 years so probably not too qualified to comment but if more people spent less time making snide comments and allegations about other peoples' businesses and spent rather more time looking after there own businesses then a lot more work would get done and a few less businesses would fail.

I suspect that there are a fair number of "trouble makers" stirring up the dirt so as to make their competition look unstable. They should have the bottle to say who they are and who they work for. Failing that they must stop their prattle.

hj.

I know the spelling police aren't popular on here but as a fellow pedant I'm intrigued, why did you wait a month?

While we're pedanting, never start a sentence with numbers

DR

OK How's this? Forty years and.........

"wait a month?" 'Just lazy I guess, or only just noticed!

But seriously I just don't get this there, their, they're. This is primary school stuff that I learned when we still had milk monitors. How come a bunch of professional pilots don't know this??? It's just embarrassing!

Glad we agree though.
