There is nothing wrong with discussing any company's health-status publicly. But, mixing pure speculation with ill wishing 'bravo sierra' is potentially harmful and I, as an employee of DC Aviation, am not willing to accept that my job is at risk because of that.
The following is quite obvious:
the international financial crisis does affect business aviation as a whole - and DC Aviation is no exception
we did suffer a decline in revenue flights in the past few weeks and
some of our customers are flying less than before.
DC Aviation is far from being bankrupt and the company's owner continues to be committed to its success. This is good and this is reassuring for all of us.
What needs to be done right now is cutting costs and marketing ourselves effectively - besides other measures which do not belong to a public discussion.
We might disagree occasionally about what's right or wrong, but I have no doubt in my mind that this company will not only survive, but be fitter and stronger when the crisis is over.
Difficult times often offer opportunities for improvement and creative solutions.
