NetJets Middle East Ops
Would anyone have a good contact address/number for the Netjets Ops Dept in Jeddah? I would like to make contact with someone who works in the Ops/Dispatch Department there.
Thanks in advance.

Anyone know how Netjets Middle East is doing in this economic climate (and state-of-war)?
Any NJME pilots out there? How do you like the job? What aircraft do you fly - and what types of trips do you fly (how far afield from Jeddah)?
How different are the trips in terms of range and length/duration for each aircraft type (Hawker, Falcon and Gulfstream)? Any examples?
Cheers

Recurring Topic: Netjets Middle East - BBJ Opps
I have seen a number of ads in Flight International for NetJets Middle East related to their "new" BBJ operation to start-up soon.
At the very bottom of the ad, it makes mention of a "unique" 35 day on, 31 day off schedule. Does that sound appealing to you? I am not sure... I suppose that could work for out-of-work European 737 drivers who would undoubtedly commute.
I have read about the pros/cons of living in Saudi Arabia. Besides those thoughts, why shouldn't someone consider this opportunity to fly a brand-new BBJ worldwide out of the Middle East?
Anyone know of any takers thusfar? Any comments related to this? Are there many European Captains and FOs considering this opportunity (i.e., ex-Sabena, Swissair, BMI, etc.)?
Any helpful comments about this opportunity?
Cheers

One other BBJ operator that I know uses 2 month on and one off, so the 35 days on 31 days off sounds incredibly appealing, provided that they supply the tickets home. I also believe that the number of days off (31x5.5 approx) will allow people to keep their tax free status in certain parts of Europe.
AFAIK, that schedule applies to all of NJME crews and not just the BBJ drivers.

e-mail response indicates they have been 'overwhelmed' by applicants and will be sending Applications to those deemed 'suitably qualified'.
Their concluding remark is that if you do not receive an application by or before March 15th...
thanks for trying. <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

Willie,
Good to hear from you. Still looking for Middle East opportunities? I think flying a BBJ in the Middle East would be a great opportunity (especially with the great schedule they are proposing) - and it could set you up for Emirates... Sorry to hear about Canada 3K - any chance you will reunite with the new version?
What's your status now?
Best of luck,
Lav

Lots of opportunity mate.
Lots of opportunity.
But not in Canada, eh?
Who knows what the future will bring?
Emirates??? Not me man.
Too old. Wish I were 35 again. It would make for easier decisions. And, I could re-think some of my decisions since leaving the sandbox.

NJ -Middle East -E mail applications
I keep getting (now for the third time on e mail!)) invitations/application forms ect. to attend a Netjet (ME) interview at Le Bourget, this time in October, even though I have not applied...
The positions are for P1 on the 125....
Has anyone else received these and or attended?
Are they that desperate to resort to bulk e mailing?

No Kidding!!! Maybe I could pass on my email address to you and you could mysteriously have NJME start sending me job offers?? However, I did heard that they might/would be doing interviews in France in October, but I did not know that they accepted direct entery left seat 125 Captains. I thought everyone had to start in the right seat and work their way over to the left regardless of the a/c type?? Any insight anyone?
Thanks,
Joe

NetJets Middle East interview
Hey Cloudbasher,
I don't know what the hell you did, but I'm not complaining that's for sure!!! Just got an invite to the interview session in Paris at the end part of October!! via email no less Really wasn't expecting that.
I know I might be flamed by others for saying this, but I'm quite excited about this opportunity. This might be my big break to get into the Corportae side of the industry!! A side I've craved to be in but only ever been able to see from the opposite side of the fence. Ok, maybe some don't think that NetJets is the end all and be all, but for me, where I am in my career, this is a BIG boost!! I hope that others can see it from my side and try and smile for me versus flaming me. Thanks
Now for my question, has anyone been thru a NetJets interview recently?? More specifically a NetJets Middle East interview? ANYTHING would be a great help.
Thank you to anyone that can offer me some advice, it'll be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Joe

Well done JoeCo - you've got a foot in the door. Don't let any bitter comments from those who didn't stay with the program or even get as far as you have deter you.
Keep us posted.

JoeCo,
Congrats on the interview. Three quick questions for you or any Netjets ME pilots out there:
1. What is likely aircraft assignment for starting FOs (i.e., Hawker 800XP, Falcon 2000, etc.)?
2. Where would you likely be based?
3. Where do NJME pilots normally fly - regional flying around the Middle East or to Europe? What have you heard in terms of normal schedule for these pilots?
Good luck!
