JP also has 35/31 as a schedule, just offers a better deal than ACASS as an overall package

Joeco,
Sorry if you feel offended. I (and most) know little of the offer from the employment company. Sounds very ordinary. Most with NAS are employed directly. The conditions of employment are quite good. I know little of the ACAS offfer. I jumped the gun. Again.......sorry 'bout that.

D

Well it is quite clear that the ACASS offer is the 'low ball' of the recruitment companies. However, from what I have heard, that is typical of ACASS.

As for JP and NAS/NJME, ....HOW do we get in touch with them!?!? I've applied weeks ago on the JP websitem they acknowledged recieving my details but I have heard nothing. I have also applied multiple time to the HR dept at NAS/NJME but no acknowledgment or anything. Anyone have any advide?

D, yes I think you did jump the gun. Others I spoke to figured you must be ACASS Management. Any truth to that? Regardless, it is quite clear that my post will make others aware of the diferent packages on offer by the various recruitment companies recruiting for the NAS/NJME. Your appology is accepted.

My homework is done, I wil continue to pursue NAS/NJME but not with ACASS. ...Now, who has the info I'm lookign for?

Cheers,

Joe

NJME Interview

NJME interview
Hiya

Is ther anybody out there who has recently attended Farnbourough for interview/assessment? Any info appreciated, ie typical questions & sim profile, does it tend to follow the NJE format?

Yeah, This is a duplicate of the post on the ME forum but not to worry it's intentional - not too much jet juice!

My standard answer to this question is "use the search function" but I'm in a generous mood this evening

There's a technical written exam that a brush up of your ATPL subjects should cover. Basic aerodynamics, swept wing, terminology, performance terminology (TODA/TORA/LDR etc).

Sim seems to be the Embraer 145 these days but in the past that's been subject to sim availability.

Scenario questions along the lines of what would you do if............passenger wants to turn back, baggage won't fit and my personal favourite, the captain arrives at hotel check-out the worse for wear

Seriously though, a search will tell you the latest feedback if that's what you really want.

NJME

These guys will **** you until you bleed...................

The guys that interviewed me all left within 6 months of the interview.

The company doesn't honor any contract and you will be lucky to get paid. This is why ACAAS is now hiring crew for the Hawkers........ the main company stopped paying salaries and the crew left. FA jioning were told 1 on 1 off. On erival the salry was reduce $500 an dthey were on 3 months before being ALLOWED to leave the country................ If you can work in Europe, try Net Jets tere. In Saudi there are no human rights nor legal system to un do any change in the contract they throw at you.

They have over 200 dministration staff collecting pay checks and only 30 would ever show up to work......................

It is a grab a rating and run exercise but it will be painful

Lowy4sure, Do you actually work for NJME ?? It is very easy to make any company look bad by talking bringing up a few negatives, bet it wouldn't look so bad if you added all the positive aspects. As for Saudi, sorry it does not live up to you standards, but it is their country, and they can govern it how ever they please. Take the log out of your own eye before trying to take the splinter out of someone else's !!
On second thoughts, reading through all your posts it is clear you will make comment on anything whether you know what you are talking about or not !!

NJME

Been invited to interview @ DFW in January. Can anyone tell me what they are paying the G-IV Captains?
Any other words of wisdom?

Have done the NJME search.

Thanks,

Cool G-IV Captain Pay

They are paying a Buck 15 per year for G-IV Captain. 96 for HS-125 Captain.

The G-IV Captain Position is a tease. Most people will be chosen for the Hawker. One or two for the Falcon

Have not heard that rumor about us moving from Jeddah, it seems that we are pretty much established in our office building there, even moving part of maint. over there, but I have heard a rumor about us moving farther away from NAS and blending in with the rest of NetJets. Would love to see us blended in with NJE.

According to the COM that I have its 1500TT for the Hawker, 2000 and 3000 for the F2K & GIV respectively. However I believe that these are flexible depending existing time on type.

Why on God's earth would anyone want to jion a s*** outfit like that? There are plenty of jobs everywhere else, so if you can only get in with that lot, then you are in trouble, career wise.
