Netjets Middle East
I have been offered a position in Netjets Middle East, I have read some of the old treads in Pprune.
Are there any present NJME pilots that can give me some inside on day to day operations.
-When is the perdiem paid? How?
-How do you get the airlines tickets at the end of your rotation?
Does the company just provide whatever cheapest airfare they can find? Or do you have a say on what airline you prefer to fly back home to Europe or America?
-How is the housing in Jeddah?
Any more scoops would be greatly appreciated.
Let' hear it.
Thanks.

Hawker boy...
I know people in NJME so I can pretty much guarantee that what I tell you here is accurate.
Per diem is normally paid a day or 2 before you start your 35 day tour.. Paid into bank account of your choice.
Housing in jeddah..no..you will almost certainly be given hotel accommodation.
Tickets are given to you at end of rotation..probably sent to your hotel, or perhaps collect at airport on departure. You will also get your return ticket then.
You travel cattle class to and from home, unless you can convince that airline to give you upgrade.
You don't have a choice of what airline you travel. However, you can request to take a flight "home" to a different destination so long as you agreee to pay any additional cost involved.
Be careful with the 31 days "off"..you may (almost certianly) have to use up your off time to do simulator training on less perdiem than normal.
Be wary of the compnay mobile phone calls. They say you only pay for personal calls but they sometimes say that certain company calls also get charged to you.
Beware of verbal promises...get things in writing before you start.
You may be expected to work first 2 months without a break due to the time it takes them to organise your training.
Continually cover your ass.
Enjoy saudi

Hi Crazy Max, a favour please. I have searched the pprune forums for a netjets Middle East contact address (missed the Flight Int. address) and nothing found. I would like to add my lot to the application queue. A 320 & B 737 NG Capt , eyes wide open & keen on the on/off lifestyle.
I realise I'm late for the present intake but want to try for the next batch.
Hope you or one of your colleagues can help.

I just got called for an interview which includes a written test with Net Jets Middle East. Does anyone have an idea of the type questions they ask for the written test?

Hey Gulfman
written test will be nothing at all to worry about as they are desperate for crew and even struggle to get people to attend interviews from what I hear. Do you really know what you are letting yourself in for????? You will be hard pushed to find any staff there that arent looking elsewhere ( apart from certain nationalities with no standards and incapable of ever saying NO). I believe 3 captains just resigned from Gulfstream in last month...heard (dont know how true) they are having trouble finding pilots type rated for Gulfstream for money/package being offered so they are taking captains from Hawker fleet to Gulfstream then will externally recruit for Hawker.
