Lear 45 Type Rating

Hi guys,

do you know the price for an Initial Training on a Learjet 45?? Possibly at Flight International.

Hi there,

Best if you call them.

Tucson and Atlanta (FSI) offer the Type rating, so does Bombardier in Dallas. Don't forget that you will have to add hotel+car+meals. Also the process to get cleared by the DOJ(department of justice) and TSA is fairly long. Background check+fingerprints...You will NOT be allowed to start the SIM phase until you get your clearance.

At a guess I would imagine between £12000-£16000 for a type rating.

Think the company payed arround $25,000 for my initial....doesn't include incidentals, of course!

LR-45 At Flightsafety

I paid $18,000 for my initial at Flightsafety in Atlanta, that was in 2003 but I hope this helps as a guide
