Challenger 604

Hi there!

I'm about to get a CL-604 Type rating course in Bombardier Training Center in Montreal to get my validation of UK JAR ATPL + FAA ATPL certification on the basis of my Canadian ATPL... and 3000 TT (1000 turboprop)

I was just wondering if anybody had contacts with CL-604 operators as i would appreciate to find one from August this Year preferably in Europe but anywhere having a position would make me happy...

Thank you very much for any answer

Regarding the list of 604's, here's some further info.

HZ-AFA2 fully manned
HB-IVV fully manned unless recent change
A9C-BXB DON"T GO THERE, owned by BEXAIR - STAY AWAY!!!
P4-FAY I believe is fully manned

If you can get hold of a Challenger operators handbook, the contact information can be obtained in that.

Good luck

BEXAIR has a bunch of problems not the least of which is late or no payments to the crew. There was also much talk of a certain Captain flying the 604 without a valid medical...he's since been released...finally.
If you look into the life of BEXAIR, you'll see that they were formally ASASCO, problems there too.
If you go there, be prepared to accept lousy salary, 11 months on and 1 off, you might be able to get a 3 and 1 rotation, but not much in the way of salary as management wants everything and will give nothing, but yet they can afford to buy more jets.

Get the picture?

Latte Tester,
Are you ex Bexair? Do they still owe money to you?
I understand that they are now offering 5 and 1 contract with improved salary package.
If you like you can PM me. I am looking a 604 job....

Latte Tester,

HZ-AFA1 is a re-registered MD11 operated by Saudi Royal Flight. Presuming that this re-registration is to put the aircraft under the control of Prince Sultan. Is AFA2 operated by Saudi Royal Flight?

Cheers

Bexair

hey guys,

I heard that a few months back, Bexair recruited many staff in its ops who tried to abuse the company for personal gains and have escaped OBBI after getting their training paid by the company!

Last I heard is that legal action has been taken against the staff who escaped.

A friend of mine said that MDS was a total failure??? and all he did was invent stories and problems to cover up for his mistakes. (dont know him personaly)

Its sad to hear what MDS did and hope justice is done!

I have a feeling that you donīt know the hole story. What ever were the reasons for previous Bexair problems obviously were still there and not possible humanly to overcome.
If you look backward, since day one this company been struggling and people been coming and going constantly. Maybe they need to have a look deeper for the company and fix those faults before trying to hire anyone to do miracles.

HA,

Bexair has some problems and the management do not use the sort of standard practices we might expect in western europe. MDS has left and although no one is ever perfect, just remember there are always several views. MDS is basicaly a good guy who has a can do attitude.

High Altitudes, you are talking c**p.

I got to know those guys pretty well. It is clear you did not. MDS in particular was extremely helpful to me and offered good professional advice which helped get me my present job. Perhaps you should check on Bexair elsewhere on the forums before spouting.

Are you Bexair management, HA? I think you must be ....
