Looks a bit like a J-79, maybe in an F-16?

Morning Kitbag...unfortunately not a J79 nor an F-16. This is one of 2 engines fitted to this particular aircraft.

Lightning Mate 21st December 2011 09:12

French perchance?

Noyade 21st December 2011 09:19

Morning gents.

G'day Ken.... Blinder?

Lightning Mate 21st December 2011 09:25

Evening Graeme.

You all stocked up with the necessary?

Noyade 21st December 2011 09:33

You mean am I ready for Christmas, or do I have a challenge?

Are you cooking up a storm with your new kitchen over Christmas? :)

Lightning Mate 21st December 2011 09:39

I meant Christmas mate.

Still getting used to the speed of operation of the new hob and cooker - very quick. It's amazing how technology has moved on. It's all German of course.

18 LED lights at three levels - with all on the total power consumption is 65 watts!

Noyade 21st December 2011 09:42

It's all German of course.
Of course. So is mine - from Aldi. :)

Lightning Mate 21st December 2011 09:47

I suppose that's high-end in OZ! :E

Thanks Ken, you sneaky cropper! :)

No.14....

skytrain10 21st December 2011 10:17

Can't really get 14 into perspective. Presume thats a wing or tailplane off the the RHS?

It's all German of course
Do Lidl's sell kitchens?:) Seriously sounds nice mate...mind you ours is all British...or at least the boxes it came in were:).

Noyade 21st December 2011 10:21

Ken, the artist is looking from the front. Cockpit is immediately to the left. The key gives No.14 as a "Low-observable engine inlet."

skytrain10 21st December 2011 10:25

"Low-observable engine inlet."
Ah, that's why I couldn't make out what it was:)

Noyade 21st December 2011 10:33

Ahhh...funny guy. :)

If you listen carefully, you can hear David preparing lunch on the marble-top bench...chopper, chopper - chop.

That's a clue. I think.

skytrain10 21st December 2011 10:37

I had wondered about those that go chop chop, but nothing sprung to mind. I had better take another look!
