Evening Mel.

Possibly French? I was thinking along the lines of the Dewoitine D.500 series?

MReyn24050 24th June 2013 00:00

Hi Graeme. It is French but not from the Dewoitine D.500 series

Lightning Mate 24th June 2013 06:37

Bristol Cherub Engine?

ICT_SLB 28th June 2013 04:18

Never seen a close up but wonder if it's the Parnell Peto that was carried on, and went down with, the submarine, HMS M1.
I'll be off to bed now so OH in the unlikely event I'm right.

MReyn24050 28th June 2013 11:38

The wings the Pilot is wearing would appear to be the type warn by US Army Air Corps Pilots. Would I be correct in saying the aircraft is from the USA?

Noyade 28th June 2013 11:46

Morning? Mel.

Just home from work - yes mate, from the USA - the challenge that is. :)

sycamore 28th June 2013 11:46

Some kind of `flying-flea` as there are only a pair of upper cabane struts, and maybe a pitch rod,and what appears to be a wing/large tailplane at the back..?
