Excellent cropping Graeme, you should reapply for the vacant post at Dauntless. I thought we were looking at the engine fire wall and not the cowling side structure.:ok: |
|
Kamov Ka-26 perhaps David?
|
Not perhaps Mel.
Your turn. :ok: |

Are we looking at a racing aircraft or aircraft designed for a single purpose?
How about the Napier Lion in the Fairey Monoplane? |
Yes the Fairey Long Rang monoplane II

Evening Mel. Yes, I tried to make it look "racey" or fighter-like in appearance. :)
All yours. :ok: |
Great challenge Graeme. At first I thought it was an aircraft used in the Schneider Trophy competition. What got me thinking was the two rows of exhaust ports which led me to the Napier Lion a 12-cylinder broad arrow configuration aircraft engine and then the Fairey Monoplane which had a Napier Lion XIA.
Here is the next one:- http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c6...ps4d4876d4.jpg |
