Fisher P-75?
ea200, absolutely correct - it is indeed the Fisher P-75
Rather a poor aircraft, intended to be a long range escort fighter. Heavy, unmanoeuvrable and unstable, it was soon canned in favour of the P-51 with additional fuel tanks. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fisher_P-75_Eagle ea200, you have control!! |
8 minutes!!!! I can't type that fast.....................
Thanks BEagle. I came across P-75 when I was searching for the What Cockpit thread just a few days ago. As soon as I saw it I knew I had seen it before and a quick review of my search history did the job. I only logged on just after your post by chance.
Now for somethng a bit more recent: https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/pprune....d98033f652.jpg |

Isn't it still just a concept aircraft?
