http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i.../2012/31-2.jpg

(Nice sketch BTW)

Noyade 28th Jun 2012 13:30

I think I have that intake in my head right now, based on your kind exhaust clue. Open House if it is the ...

http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/2673/img034d.jpg

Cheers Karl.

Karlark 28th Jun 2012 13:39

That's the one :ok:.

Noyade has declared open house.

Harley Quinn 29th Jun 2012 05:19

To keep it moving here is a simple one

Noyade 29th Jun 2012 13:43

Twin jet? Looks massive. Fuselage at right of screen mate?

evansb 29th Jun 2012 17:40

Sukhoi SU-27 ?

Harley Quinn 29th Jun 2012 19:51

Twin jet yes, Russian no.
Not very big: <70ft long and <30ft wide

sycamore 29th Jun 2012 20:16

NA A3J Vigilante..

Harley Quinn 29th Jun 2012 20:21

Sorry, not the Vigilante

nacluv 29th Jun 2012 21:08

I think that's a F111.

skytrain10 29th Jun 2012 21:20

I had wondered the same, but the F-111 doesn't fit the dimensions. Also the tail would show from that angle - unless of course its been removed?
Assuming military but the colours appear to reflect a prototype, development or test aircaft?

nacluv 29th Jun 2012 21:23

I was just going through a similar thought process!

Back to the drawing board then...

nacluv 29th Jun 2012 21:27

Perhaps a Sea Vixen then? That would explain the 'missing' tail...

skytrain10 29th Jun 2012 21:48

Sea Vixen...check the wing span!

skytrain10 29th Jun 2012 22:07

North American X-10? Would explain the absence of any visible tail.

Noyade 29th Jun 2012 22:16

North American X-10
Good call mate. :)

skytrain10 29th Jun 2012 22:25

Thanks Graeme...nice website:ok:

Not sure on the policy on this forum, but going to hit the hay now, so assuming correct will have to be Open House.

Harley Quinn 29th Jun 2012 22:59

Skytrain is correct.

Open House

Karlark 30th Jun 2012 19:07

Ok, here's one:

skytrain10 30th Jun 2012 19:59

Hi Karl...F-105B Thunderchief?

Karlark 30th Jun 2012 20:27

Evening Ken,

Yes, the Republic F-105 Thunderchief :ok:.
Quite an intake.. I couldn't ignore it. :)

Your control.

skytrain10 30th Jun 2012 20:54

Thanks Karl....always liked the Thud.

An easy one to keep things moving along:

Noyade 30th Jun 2012 21:13

Evening gents. Afternoon Karl?

P-80 mate?

Karlark 30th Jun 2012 21:15

My guess would be a F-94 Starfire for that one.

Noyade 30th Jun 2012 21:28

Is Intake/Outtake Identification an Olympic competition? Should be.

F-94 looks promising mate, but I'll keep stabbing away just in case. :) Going for Gold...

Maybe the SAAB 32 Lansen?

skytrain10 30th Jun 2012 21:29

Morning Graeme
Not the P-80 or the F-94....but Graeme, you are close:ok:

Maybe the SAAB 32 Lansen?
Nope

Karlark 30th Jun 2012 21:29

Could throw the T-33 in there for good measure?

Noyade 30th Jun 2012 21:36

I'm happy with Silver. :)

Karlark 30th Jun 2012 21:41

Can't forget the TV2 Seastar.

I think that pretty much covers them all. :)

Noyade 30th Jun 2012 21:43

Can't forget
I did. :(..........

skytrain10 30th Jun 2012 22:06

Could throw the T-33 in there for good measure
Good call Karl :ok: It is a T-33, in this case a former Danish Air Force example which I saw recently at the small museum at Karup.

http://i551.photobucket.com/albums/i...r/a470d1fd.jpg

Karlark has control

Karlark 30th Jun 2012 22:25

Thanks Ken. Here's a T-33 I took a picture of a few years back sitting here in the twin cities:

http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i...8/P2230029.jpg

It will need to be Open House.

Noyade 30th Jun 2012 22:31

His T-33 is bigger than yours Ken. Gold again to the USA. :)

How about a project intake?...

skytrain10 30th Jun 2012 22:42

Yours looks very familiar Graeme but its been a long day to day so am closing down. Have a good one:ok:

Noyade 30th Jun 2012 22:50

Yours looks very familiar
