I see 844 x 387 and this URL: http://i41.tinypic.com/2qckqx2.jpg
Yup, that's what I see Simon. Could it be a TinyPic problem?

I do not know if some of you are still seeing the stealth version of the challenge, but here is the original photo:

Here Comes The Amateur

This is so simple I am sure you get it right away.

TheiC 19th Jun 2013 03:00

Well, that looks like a Douglas Invader...

Is this thread drifting into cockpits?

evansb 19th Jun 2013 03:32

Yes, it clearly belongs on the What Cockpit? thread...

TheiC 19th Jun 2013 05:54

Hmmm, it seems a little rude simply to dismiss silohed's input, especially since fresh blood here is a rarity, but despite (or perhaps because of) the lack of rules, things seem to run pretty well when they stay within the bounds of what seems to be considered normal here.

Shall we wait for silohed's to respond? Or should we take it that it remains Open House?

Lightning Mate 19th Jun 2013 07:51

It would be rude to dismiss silloheds' challenge, but I'm sure he will soon realise what this thread is about.

We should wait for him to come back, but it might be some time considering he is in the USA.

However, since you have correctly identified the Douglas Invader, TheiC, I feel we should not OH it, since it will be your thread soon.

:)

sillohed 19th Jun 2013 17:04

OK

OK, I said I was an amateur and hopelessly out classed by everyone who frequents this thread. Regrets :uhoh:

TheiC 19th Jun 2013 20:59

silohed,

Don't feel bad; take a look around and I'm sure you'll get the hang of it here. Even better if you have access to any fresh images which you can bring to the various challenges...

All,

I'm afraid I'm short of time this evening and then very busy for a couple of days, so it will indeed have to be OPEN HOUSE here.

Karlark 20th Jun 2013 02:06

Don't worry about it Sillohed, we will sort it out.

This "Challenge" thread is for mostly intakes, exhaust, engine and other porthole identifications. :) There is also a different thread down the hall called "cockpits". that is where you post, well, cockpit pictures.

It is all in good fun, so please have fun.... and post more pictures to keep us challenged!

Karlark 21st Jun 2013 16:37

That's because it is the Caproni Vizzola F6, David. :ok:
