Tennessee, North Carolina or south of these?

dook 13th Mar 2019 19:47

North of North Carolina - not many left.

I feel a better clue is in order.

dook 13th Mar 2019 20:14

It no longer exists but was ship-shape in its' day.

Bedtime now out here.

I'm kind-of breaking my self-imposed rule of not using Google Earth here, in the sense that a few years ago I spied this airfield from a flight to Malta. Not having a clue where it was, I scoured Central Italy on GE to find out.

Anyway, I'm rambling. Perugia. :)

OH if correct.

JENKINS 14th Mar 2019 08:24

That is it, 'Between the Seas.' A silly destination, but the owner of the airline , I was told, lived there. Cycling across the middle on TV this week, exciting and visually gorgeous.

OH declared.

dook 14th Mar 2019 15:26

Good afternoon/morning/evening.

The orientation in NW to top.

dook 14th Mar 2019 16:16

No crop sprayers here.

edit: and I did not get this image from GE.

I guess again an http://www.airfields-freeman.com/ ???

I scanned about half of the pages yesterday.
Not planning to do that again

dook 14th Mar 2019 19:03

I'm not going to pay to access that site but since it lists all the states it will be there somewhere.

sycamore 14th Mar 2019 20:09

I`d say ,with that surface,it is probably somewhere hottish and dry ,then cold and dry, like Idaho,Dakotas,Montana...???

dook 14th Mar 2019 20:11

So which one are you going for ?
