That's the one. :ok:

Apologies mate.
Not a problem. Good luck. I'll leave it at Open House for the time being.

Cheers.

Lightning Mate 9th Jun 2012 11:05

I might just take that in about five hours time if nobody else has.

Cheers mate - hope to see you tomorrow. :ok:

Lightning Mate 9th Jun 2012 17:46

Are we still in Russia?

Lightning Mate 9th Jun 2012 22:31

Morning mate.

No, we're in Europe.

Noyade 9th Jun 2012 22:45

Bugger. Big place that Europe. :)

Another 'feeling' I have (apart from hunger) - Italian?

Lightning Mate 10th Jun 2012 09:24

Looks like the engine was designed to keep the pilot cool !!!!

Noyade 10th Jun 2012 09:31

From what I've just read, it was a disaster and they eventually buried the engine in the fuselage which then drove twin props on the wings via chains.

Lightning Mate 10th Jun 2012 09:37

A Pemberton Billing ?

Possibly the PB-1 Supermarine.

Noyade 10th Jun 2012 09:39

That's the one. :ok:

YHC.

Pemberton-Billing P.B.1 Supermarine

Lightning Mate 10th Jun 2012 09:46

Thanks Graeme.

Now, would you like an old biplane or a very old glider? :)

Noyade 10th Jun 2012 09:56

If that's my choice, not the glider.

Lightning Mate 10th Jun 2012 09:57

OK then.

A jet maybe ?

Noyade 10th Jun 2012 10:06

Love a jet! :ok:
