Some had inverted in-line fours.

Caudron C.480 Frégate then?

Not the C480...that had slightly swept wings.

The C510 is very close...but not quite there:)

Same year of manufacture as the C.510 and very similar looking save for the tail, which on most C510's was significantly higher than on the challenge aircraft, and the engine exhaust, which on the 510 goes further back.

Buttrick, sorry but is your post a proposed challenge in view of Karl's call for OH or are you questioning whether it is a Caudron C.410?
