Noyade 24th May 2010 09:54

Well Ton I remain convinced that it's American and I've looked at Timm, Security, Kinner and Waco but the wheels always let me down...

Time for another drink...

teusje 24th May 2010 09:59

It is American, the engine is a Siemens-Halske, and it was built in 1928.

Lightning Mate 24th May 2010 13:51

Bonjour Richard.

Not an Avro.

Lightning Mate 24th May 2010 18:02

Is it something I said....? :uhoh::uhoh:

Lightning Mate 24th May 2010 21:21

This floatplane is not at all well-known.

It was Canadian.

HarmoniousDragmaster 24th May 2010 22:11

Wright-Martin tractor seaplane?

HarmoniousDragmaster 24th May 2010 22:13

If by a miracle it is that, OH as I'm off to bed.

Noyade 25th May 2010 00:13

I just made it into a silhouette. ;)

I know where you have been looking - there's only one site with that one on it.......

Lights, music, please take the stage. :D

Noyade 25th May 2010 08:50

I just made it into a silhouette.
Yeah mate, I gathered that...:hmm::)

I know where you have been looking - there's only one site with that one on it.......
Actually, I don't think you know where I've been looking, certainly not ROSEBUD as I find the index too big. Is there a search function?

No, I found it in a book when you mentioned that it was Canadian. Only problem scanning books/magazines is the occasional centreline...see below, my new challenge..

(Completely off-topic but I just read that 'they' want to build a mosque near the World Trade Centre excavation site..un****ing believable?!)

Noyade 25th May 2010 08:53

Do ya think the guy, bottom left, looks like Buster Keaton ...?

Lightning Mate 25th May 2010 08:53

I see a chap in evening dress!!

Only a Brit would do that.......

Lightning Mate 25th May 2010 08:59

A namesake of yours?

Is it known as a "Charabanc" ?

Noyade 25th May 2010 09:04

"Charabanc"
As in coach or bus?...sort of. It did carry people...
