Homebuilt? Relatively modern, American (USA) ??

evansb 5th Feb 2011 21:31

Not an amateur built. Not designed in the U.S.A. First flight during WW.II.

Evening mate.

Nice to see you back - been away?

Looking at the close coupling of the engines, I think yours must be high-winged.

Is it a floatplane?

Reminds me of a D028, except that it ain't.

Noyade 6th Feb 2011 08:47

Morning mate.

Nice to see you back - been away?
No mate, can't afford to go away. Just been busy with work and home maintenance.

Would you like to see the original 3-view? It is a high-wing. No floats.

Lightning Mate 6th Feb 2011 08:55

A 3-view would be nice.....

Apart from you I'm the only one here.

Noyade 6th Feb 2011 09:01

Mate, this thread has withered down to just a handful of players.

Is that sad?

Or not?

Maybe I'm just a little down and drinking a tad too much. Very nice though! :ok:

Good morning David, evening Graeme<

For the first time since mid evening last night, my connection has held up long enough to log-in! If it goes again my light will stay on (for an hour I think)!

Like the Do-28, I thought it looked like a Nomad, but it aint!

We all get like that mate, but why are you down?

Your challenge seems younger that I thought, and seems to have a couple of horizontally-opposed sixes - probably Lycomings.

Was one of its' jobs that of ambulance?

Noyade 6th Feb 2011 09:08

G'day Trevor! :ok:

Graeme<
I am less than Graeme....?

Sums me up beautifully! :)

Noyade 6th Feb 2011 09:11

Your challenge seems younger that I thought

SincoTC 6th Feb 2011 09:11

Sorry mate! tying to tripe to qwikly bfore the  line drops out!!

Noyade 6th Feb 2011 09:14

Was one of its' jobs that of ambulance?
Only one built. Not successful. But it is an adaptation of a single engine aircraft which is without a doubt one of the most famous and useful post WW2 aircraft ever produced...

I flogged it from the 69' Observers'.

Great if you have a copy.............:\

Mate I don't know about the UK but when I was in Melbourne I popped into all the second-hand bookshops I saw and asked for "aviation please".

They would look at me quizzically and say "no, don't have any, sorry".

All because of the Net?....

Noyade 6th Feb 2011 09:25

Something from Helio?
No mate, sorry.
