Was I Dreaming - He 111

Driving south down the M11 past Duxford yesterday I thought I saw the fuselage of a He111 between the Superhangar and the sheds by the wire which I think is the OFMC site. WasI dreaming or is there such an aircraft under restoration there?

You weren't dreaming and indeed there is a Spanish built ex b of B movie He 111 parked on a low-loader outside the ARC (not OFMC) hangar. It's been bouncing around East Anglia for some time but I'm not sure what the plans are for it.

One of my favourite planes, hope this part finds a good home. I have actually been inside the one at Hendon, very similar view to that from my Heinkel-Trojan bubble car!

Below is a copy famous photo hanging on the wall of my workshop (see arrow at bottom left) while it was having some high speed structural alterations made to it!

There is indeed another one at Duxford, one of the former Battle of Britain film Casa 2111s if I recall. Think it's owned by Kermit Weekes or Bill Allen and has been stored/under restoration somewhere else in East Anglia
