Yes 'twas Syerston, my alma mater. In the early 60s, the only FTS with WRAFs, and the one closest to London. What a year for a teenage jet-jockey!

I have strapped my wife into a Jaguar on many occasions. She has just over ten hours on type.

Great personal transport back then...................

Mind you , she said she did enjoy the view from the Lancaster.....

I'm afraid you're right, NR. Familiarity with both the sisters and the aircraft to blame there.

Never saw the Beverly Sisters but flew in the aircraft several times on low-level supply drops - great fun!
