Looking at the exhaust outlet of a wing mounted engine. Viewed from the rear quarter with the nose of the aircraft visible on the LHS.

Sorry Ken, ma'brain is locked on Stupid Mode. I can't get this image out of my head... A radial fighter banking to port and hopefully strafing some Jap ground-troops...

I'll go and stand in the corner for a while.

A bit out of perspective Graeme. You are looking at the rear of the engine as viewed from the starboard rear quarter, so the front of the engine is out of shot to the right of the picture. The undercarriage is fuselage mounted, not wing.

Ok mate, thanks. Julie is giving me the evil eye, I'm meant to be doing some bathroom tiling.

(I'll sneak back later. )

Cheers.
