Which Aerodrome Mk III
Looks quite neat and tidy but a load of rather ancient 727's - are we in Florida Bear?
Defo in a right hand drive country - you can see the markings on the traffic circle sign bottom centre..............

Thanks. Air Mauritanie 727 was the clue. I have flown in Mauritania for a short(s) while, but never at this next place. I have picnicked nearby however. Sorry for GE, it is all I have.

Birnie is very close, and Birnie Kirk was my reason for visiting. I have seen the field referred to as Easterton, but the simplest title appears to be the Highland Gliding Club. Close nearby is the former RAF Elgin, recognisable in my days there by the former airfield buildings. W/pedia seems to have correct text for RAF Elgin but an incorrect location, namely Milltown.
Birnie, Sycamore, will certainly suffice, all yours.

somewhere a damn site nicer than Elgin................... IMHO of course....................
I think I recognize some British WW2 Vehicles.
most left could be a CMP (Canadian Military Pattern)
So could be Canada as well.
But most right in the row (mid photo) could be Leyland Hippo or a Retriever or such alike which makes UK or overseas RAF more likely.

Not N America and not overseas RAF
but warm enough to sit outside...
I think We need one more clue.
Your last photo doesn’t show much apart that the airport is probably still active.
I have looked for hangars with black stripes on the roof and glass above the doors.
I have tried to identify the DC-3 airline
I looked for airports at 151ft altitude.
I have even looked for airport promenades and fences.
I even start to see similarities with a French WW1 aeroplane but that’s is probably an illusion?
