Which Aerodrome Mk III
¡Santiago, y cierra, España!
Good shot Flap 40 - Compostela it is - linked by routes (boat and foot) all over Europe used for many centuries by pilgrims. The badge is of course the Pecten - a sea shell (as used by Shell Oil).
Airport opened by a rich flying club in the early 1930's, taken over during the Civil War and then returned to civilan use later. One of Spain's busier airports but not on teh radar for the Stag 'n Hen brigade or the Sun 'n booxe crowd..................

Thanks. I’m surprised you found so many pictures of it with the sun shining. In my experience the wx always seems to be rain/low cloud/mist/fog each time I check it as we fly past. A bit like Cork & Brest.
