Well found, you have it with Toul-Croix De Metz.
Comparing the image with GE, the left hand side looks more like the eastern side of the town, and aren't those railways criss-crossing at the bottom of the picture - which are to the north of the town?
This chap was also stationed here.

Thank you - it did turn out to be quite a tour.
I am not sure of the caravan photo orientation to be honest.
I think I am the only player here who can devote a lot of time to the challenges.
I have no wish to be thought of as a hog and therefore feel it's appropriate to call OH.

Yes, not in bed yet. Freeway, not a word used in the English language, but certainly used in the American language, and perhaps a reasonable word to describe that main road. No doubt that will change. There was unwitting relevance here 17 years ago.
