Local time, it is bed-time. I regret that there is little which I can leave as a clue. Not many famous people from this area, although that situation is normally associated with those over the border.

Mauberge it is. Paris - Roubaix was passing not too far away on one of my days there. ATC very busy with helis, cyclists with survival. The town suffered greatly in two World Wars.
