Which Aerodrome Mk III
Harry,
I was going to ask you how you post yours! If you click on Post Reply and scroll down, you’ll see an option to attach files. The drawback is you only get thumbnails. How do you post your full-size pictures?
Back to the challenge. Yes, one of the relatively flat bits of Canada.

The Approved Method
User Cp on top yellow menu line above - Pictures and Albums - create Album - Upload picture - gives you chance to upload 3 jpegs at a time - once uploaded you can copy either the BB or the other link
Open Which aerodrome - Reply - picture symbol and paste in the link
Only problem is that it seems to only allow 25 to 30 pictures per Album so you have to delete the oldies every so often

Given that not even the Canadian taxpayer pays for a significant amount of concrete and a tower at every two-bit town it has to be somewhere big -ish
Apparent lack of aircraft (or activity) = ?military?
Those spot circles also look military
I think it may well be CAFB Edmonton Namao at Lancaster Park?
Drove by it a few times

Got it in one. Namao used to be a C130 base and one of the Shuttle landing sites. The runway is long gone and it’s now an Army base.
HH, what on earth were you doing, driving past Namao?
HH has the con.

Thanks - your last picture made me think Nigeria/Ghana - before I read the post above it
Three for the price of one this time - click here for a much larger version
Edit to add - there is a 4th airfield in the haze between the two flights of aircraft in the top left quarter of the photo.

Harry W - east of Stansted
HH - east of Lakenheath as well.
Jenks - south of Norwich.
North is about 8 o'clock.
The straight line to the left of the bottom airfield is still there.
