Which Aerodrome Mk III
Dash 7 somewhere in "flyover" country?
South America..?
Big place S A..blue/white cheat,,might suggest an Argentinian airline,`Kalken .?.but no idea where,possibly S or East side...

Do you have any idea how many bl**din' Dash 7 photos I looked at? It never occurred to me that the colours were Argentinian.
It looks like Rio Gallegos. Did you see any Super Etendards?

Piloto Civil Norberto Fernández International Airport at Rio Gallegos it is.
Truly the end of the world................
There weren't any AA planes there when I was there but they seemed to be keeping the bunkers in the dispersal area on the NE side of the place in shape. Not a place to wave a camera around if you have a UK passport...

Thanks, I'm jealous that you've flown in a DHC-7. It's one that is missing from my collection of DH types.
