Hunters at Marka
I was standing at almost the exact spot that the picture was taken three days ago, just before the homecomming.
It has changed, the hills are still there, but 100% covered with housing.
There are a few hunters in the "Museum" at the airport, I will try to get the serials and pictures, from a closer distance than the picts I have at present, (runway).

It is indeed Budapest Airport You are correct regarding Leslie Howard, he was killed on 1st june 1943 on BOAC Flight 777, Lisbon to Bristol. the aircraft was DC-3 G-AGBB which had been KLM's PH-ALI
