Gawd! What would you guys do without aerofiles.com ?
Celebrate! It's a bottomless pit.

Only reason I found the "85" is because I have a photo of the "225" which looked similar. Then, I went to Aerofiles.

I only like Aerofiles, when it works for me.

Sorry mate, missed that. Very quick!

Bri has control.

Yes it is the Mirage 2000C. Looks like the pommy boys are out partying or shopping. You have control.

Thanks Bri. They're either sleeping or eating, going by Trevor.

Not as good a quality as yours...

Late 40's, twin engine, single prop, French prototype.

That ought to narrow it down a bit.

G'day again Karlark.

French prototype. That ought to narrow it down a bit
Sadly no, not for me. I've been scrounging through Aerofiles.
Is it illustrated in Aviafrance?
twin engine, single prop
Airacobra style - engines at the back somewhere?
Any connection to Mr Arsenal?

Morning Noyade,

As near as I can tell the 2X inverted V8s where both in the nose while the rear was all passenger compartment. The picture is in fact from Aviafrance... and it looks like Skytrain has found it!

Evening Ken,

The SO.7010 is correct!

Here is another photo of this aircraft I found somewhere along the way;

It sure is a beauty.

Certainly is and like Graeme my initial thought when I first saw the challenge was American.
Stand-by for the next one. Going to call it a night soon so usual rules apply...if someone identifies it and someone else supports that please move on.
