Solo Display Pilot from No.6 FTS in 1988

Can anyone please tell me who was the Jet Provost solo display pilot from No.6 FTS, RAF Finningley, in 1988? I saw him perform at Chivenor that year flying JP.5B, XW429, painted with a blue top decking and tail surfaces. Thank you.

I`m told by a pretty reliable chap that it would probably be the Wright -Jubilee Aerobatic Trophy winner...but `Google ` goes all over the place with nonsensical answer...

6 FTS solo display pilot

My list of WJT winners only runs from 1954 to 1975.

I agree, Google is of little help.
