Southend gate Guard?

Anyone got any more on the rumours that Vulcan XL426 at Southend Airport is to become a gate guard? Not good if it's true.

Hi All
Further to this, is there any truth about new security being in place when the development at Southend has finished and how this will effect access to 426? If so is there any way 426 can be kept open to the public?
