RAF Periscopic Sextant MK1

Has anyone used or serviced one these sextants and do you know in which aircraft they were used? I have recently aquired one and if possible would like to trace its history. The last marking I can find on it is FEN/ unreadable/75. My guess is it was on an RAF Church Fenton inventory but for the life of me I can't think why.

I was actually looking for a Mk2 periscopic sextant a reminder to me of using them in the Vulcan in the mid seventies.
