Mustangs over Suffolk today.
11.35am. Just been flown over by 3 P.51 Mustangs east to west [to Little Gransden Airshow?] close formation with a Yak. 52. Probably Mr. Hammonds 2 machines, and Mr. Davies, I suspect. Lovely noise.

Lucky so and so - all I've seen is a C150 and had a Squirrel hovering overhead for about 5 mins - not sure why...!
Try living off the back of the Duxford circuit, its possible to overdose on Merlin engine noise at times. mmmm merlins as that man might say

I'm pretty lucky too. I don't live too far away, my wife works there on Airshow Days in the Friends of Duxford enclosure, [Teresa] serving teas and coffees, and we have a Staff Pass. Also, it has been medically proved that to overdose on the sound of Merlins and Griffons is not at all possible, and, in fact, enhances one's life immeasurably!!
