Of Light and Darkness
Recently while going through the web full of photos, I crossed one which intrigued me a bit. It is copyright protected so I will post the link
moon and planet over California photo - longbachnguyen photos at pbase.com
When you look at the Picture, it looks like the Sun's rays subsiding from the place where this picture was clicked.
I do not think the picture has been worked on (Eg: Photoshop).
I wanted to ask if there is a name for this phenomenon (other than, well, Dusk / Dawn) and if user's here could help with links for information and pictures like these.
It sure is a beautiful sight and I wish I can witness it some day.
Thanks.

I think you'd get more interest by posting on an astronomy forum... The colours in that pic are mind-blowing and something I don't think I'll ever see with the polution in southern England.

Looks like he upped the saturation level. Pic could be one of the Moon and Jupiter. We have just had a similar juxtaposition. Next one due around the 22nd Sept I think.

Thank you for your reply. More than the color in the picture, and the Phenomenon of the Moon and Jupiter appearing together, I am more curious about flying through the point where the light of Dusk meets darkness.
I'll continue searching.
