Ah the Herald

Taxi beating turning circle, bonnet that doubled as a sail, and lots of greasing points many of which did not have a nipple. Much favoured by driving schools in their day.
Quite impressive (long) legs on 771, and a sad end for Britains only SS operational oil burner, and Bear hunter.

No, exactly the same. Not so much thread drift as 180° out but quite spectacular engine development from 803cc to 1500cc as a four and with the addition of a couple of extra pots, up to 2500cc in the Triumph 2500 and TR5/6.
