I am assuming that HD is correct - he seems confident, and Graeme seems to think so too.

Mind you, this is not like one11.

Sorry about the delay.........yes, a DH.14 modified for an attempt on the first UK-South Africa flight 1920. It got as far as Messina, Sicily , although it was subsequentely recovered and rebuilt it only lasted another 6 months





So control to HD, who has had plenty of time to research something more obscure
