It's the sort of thing the Italians would do.
1920s fuselage with 1930's high aspect ratio wing

so is it Italian?

Morning all!
I was looking at Slingsby gliders yesterday evening... mainly because of the triangular tail (the angle is never this acute, however) and was about to ask if it was British...
Slingsby is definitely a British name however...
