Interesting challenge mate. Gunston ignores the manufacturer in his Biblical Russian Aircraft volume.

Speaking of the Bible, the world didn't end but my scanner died today! Could that be an omen?!

Bought a new one today, but it's not very user friendly. Takes longer, but it does work...I think...testing...testing...1,2,3..scan...

Thanks Ton.

Sorry Graeme - I cheated, I saved time by not typing Helicopteres

Well, looks like most of us survived Judgement Day, in which case we may as well have another quick challenge - fingers on buzzers:

Good for you. I'll send you a pack of new felt-tips to go with it.

Seriously for a moment, I pronised a long time ago to send you Photoshop. You will have noted what RD achieved once he'd bought his own CS copy. Please e-mail me with an update of your PC operating system.

A lion in an Aussie zoo is sitting there licking it's arse.
A visitor says, "That doesn't look very vicious to me."
"Well he is." Says the zoo keeper, "he just grabbed a Kiwi, pulled him through the fence and ate him all up."
"Is that right?" says the visitor, "he seems pretty casual, why is he licking his arse?"
And the zoo keeper says, "He's trying to get the horrible taste out of his mouth!"

Damn Ken! I've seen that before (as we all say). I'm sure it was an AviaQuiz challenge years ago...
Helicopteres
Yep! It slowed me down!
PC operating system.
Mate, the computer is 2001 vintage. When I loaded the new Lexmark scanner/printer disc it warned me that my computer did not meet the minimum specification requirements...

I was just checking on the BERP tip when you saved me the bother. I have it as the Carter Aviation Technologies PAV 2+2 but SR/C is good enough for me.

Edit - see you've amended it to say PAV

All yours LM

Evening.
I've looked at the Jastrzab too, tail doesn't seem right.
Some Nakajimas are really similar, bar the cannon/machine guns position...
Is it Japanese, LM?

Evening all
Reckon ton has got it - just found the "artists impression" of the PZL-50 on the net. The wing was so close to the Republic/Seversky models, and I had just found a 3-view of a Replica P-47 which was even closer - but the tail of course was wrong! Hadn't got around to looking at the project section!

Yep, true.
Can't believe that I actually read that same page up to the end...
