Fitter 2

Your guesses are wrong, but the type is correct. Look at the uniform, not the usual flight suit that the military drivers seem to wear. The normal area of Ops for this aircraft is a lot closer to the operators home address.

Anyway I guess the floor is yours

Thanks, Kitbag

Nothing to hand, so open house, and I won't feel guilty about jumping in a future open house.

Looks rather like the latest iteration of the Scheibe Falke, but as a previous version has appeared on the list, I guess not.

It is a Scheibe, but not the SF 24B, which is on the list.

I was thinking of the 25-C Rotax Falke, (a further development of the Slingsby T-61, a licence built SF25B.)

I thought it looked Falkish. (The stick and spoiler controls are a bit of a givaway, although panel/avionics vary enormously).

To keep the pot boiling, one which shouldn't last long:

Just to bring the thread back up the list, the aircraft is on the G- register (as you would expect from the cockpit labels), and has a current Airworthiness certificate.

The type first flew in 1963, but this example was built and flown within the last 15 years.

Isaac's Fury indeed. This one:

Actually G-BWWN but they look much more 'authentic' in mid-war livery.

Over to you..........
