Sorry, not the Rearwin, but you are very close. Same era, same engine, same configuration and category.

Then my next possibility would be a Porterfield 35-70 FLYABOUT?

Thanks B, I have tried 6 cockpits only to find each one on Mel's list!

I am wimping out and working on earning some pennies, so it is an Open House and thanks once again.

Hi Kitbag,

I was beginning to think that no one was interested

Good guess, but out by several thousand miles. This is a kit-built two-seater of indigenous design. The company also supplies kits of a well known US design.

Unknown Blind Flying Panel

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what this is from? It's the flared bit at the bottom I don't recognise....

aviate1138,

That's a nice looking aircraft, but this panel is from a different aircraft, still thousands of miles away. This aircraft has tricycle gear and a strutless high wing.

uuoret,

You'll probably have more luck if you start a new thread with your blind-flying panel picture.

Don`t know what cockpit, but the` panel` looks like a Chipmunk`s. Holes at top right for air vent ,and starter `ring-pull`.. Flared bits for a-v mountings..

kitbag,

Right country, wrong aircraft. Somewhat similar to the P1, but no wing struts - I hope they did their spar stress-calcs correctly.

kitbag,

yes, it is certainly very obscure. I stumbled on the picture by accident. It is a Rupert Aeronaves Vimana R12

Rupert-Aeronaves

The designer is Charles Rupert Jones, whose British parents moved to Brazil when he was a child, hence the very un-Brazilian company name.
