Paddyboys challenge is British Military / ex RAF Bomber base / almost certainly used as either fighter or trainer base during 60/70s. Not developed enough to be a modern mil base despite looking operational. Therefore nowadays disused/GA or Army Air Corps helicopter base. Which one? Not a scooby, but very similar to Linton-on-Ouse, but will try Watton
Edit: RAF West Raynham

I enjoyed that challenge, especially when I thought thatall 'expansion period' airfields shared a common layout only to find that West Raynham was the exception to the rule. Anyone know if my WWII Bomber > 60s Fighter-Trainer theory was correct?

At a risk of thread drift, almost every town of any size in Germany has an airfield be it powered or a glider field. Thus aviation is a major part of german culture. Why mention this? ...because the UK is not overwhelmed with airfield assets and even if limited to weekends, this airfield could have served the recreation flying community.
Especially as rural airfields do not suffer with noise complaints in the way urban ones do. The more flying clubs there are, the less of a monopoly for the clubs, the cheaper it is the learn to fly, especially if the overheads are low.

No takers on the freebie, so here is the next one:
A week clue: The most exclusive Airline in the world ran a shuttle here every monday and friday. Tomorrow I will name the airline, oh and I have been there once or twice myself!

The floor is not open, because nobody is anywhere near, well ish as in within 1000 miles I suppose.
Postcard, we had an 'open floor' for 10 hours at which time you could have jumped in. Running more than 1 is to say the least, confusing.
Fellers, you are on the right lines, so I will give 'tomorrows clue' early. The most exclusive airline in the world is Tiger Taxi's, although there are many that would say that 'Loyalty' counts for more. Like I said: Tiger Mate has been there and done it.
If you really want to scrape the barrel, this is a clue as to the 'airline'.
but possibly not the country.

Tiger_mate's challenge
How about San Pedro on Ambergris Cay Belize? This would have been that exclusive airline perhaps!

Doh, I forgot Mel was about...........
1563 Flight, The most exclusive airline in the world.
Belize Intl > San Pedro R&R shuttle for Army/RAF & MOD civilians based in Belize, by RAF Puma helicopter.
The crews were made up (on 2 month rotation) from 230 (Tiger) Sqn, and 33 (Loyalty) Sqn, and the badge which Mel has shown is based upon the local Fir-de-Lance snake, a partiiculary nasty, and unusually territorial snake.
To miss the shuttle was to pay for 'white knuckle airlines' instead, and I will keep 'liable' off Pprune, buthasten to say that there is a story there.
Mel has the con

Thanks Tiger_mate. Those were the days, I remember the Customs Inspectors at Belize International Airport in the 1980 still used to mark one's case with a chalked cross to show it had been checked. Once flew in a TACA BAC111 to Miami and asked for a Scotch and the hostess brought a bottle and glass from the trolley and it was a case of "Say when"
I am sure this will not last long.
