Old Ringway pics anyone?

Following the Heathrow and Elmdon threads, anyone got any pics taken at Manchester Ringway, preferably pre-1980s?

Cor, Aviogenex and their 134s! Forgotten about those old bangers, used to get two or three on a Saturday at Gatwick as I recall!

Yes I think Manchester was THE place to see them as quite often seem to remember 3 on ground at once
Notice the one in the picture is a glass nose machine as opposed to glass cockpit
Do you remember Air Spain DC8 and Brits
There are quite a few old shots on airliners.net

Here's three from my old brownie, around 1963 ish? Not very good pics though.

The Vanguard doesn't seem to get the same press as the Viscount, why is this (another thread?) Was it a failiure or had some bad points?

It was know variously as the 'Guardsvan', and the 'Vickers Vibrator'. I never flew on one, but I did fly on a Viscount (standing up on the flight deck!). That was a very smooth ride.
