Old Ringway pics anyone?
Following the Heathrow and Elmdon threads, anyone got any pics taken at Manchester Ringway, preferably pre-1980s?

Cor, Aviogenex and their 134s! Forgotten about those old bangers, used to get two or three on a Saturday at Gatwick as I recall!

Yes I think Manchester was THE place to see them as quite often seem to remember 3 on ground at once
Notice the one in the picture is a glass nose machine as opposed to glass cockpit Do you remember Air Spain DC8 and Brits There are quite a few old shots on airliners.net G-I-B |
...boy do you guys know how to make somebody feel old. I flew on the Aviogenex TU-134 and AirSpain Dc-8 and lived to tell the tale !!!

Was it a failiure or had some bad points? |
