Meteor Aircraft Record Card

Hi All

Would appreciate a bit of help from anyone on record card information

I have the aircraft record card of a Meteor NF14 which records that it suffered Cat 3R damage around 15th May 1963 and was out of service pending repair by a work party from 30 MU at Dishforth, for some eight weeks.

At the time the aircraft was serving with 1 Air Navigation School at RAF Stradishall so that is likely to be the place where the incident occurred, however neither AHB or Hendon have the Accident Record card.

Could anyone suggest a means by which we can find out the particular circumstances / details of the accident please.

Any help much appreciated.
