With all that glazing might be an IL-12 or 14? Top me head...

Modern IFR suite including a GPS in the centre. WWII appearance otherwise, and twin throttles would suggest DC3 type aeroplane. Very curved superstructure around the glazing, and gut feeling that its a taildragger. Lower glazing unusual.
My guess is that it is a:

C46 Commando.

PS

Now I am sure it is!

Without cheating I was going to suggest a Catalina... but now I'm angling towards Mosquito?

The glazed nose and wooden trim certainly suggests Mosquito

Taken through the entrance door of a Mosquito at the Mosquito Air Museum, I reckon that its over to: treadigraph for the next one.

Well done CoodaShooda, but treaders got there first. I can see this thread getting >very< difficult very soon.

Oh, good guess...

Bu@@er, can't see BEagle's (is it a Pup or a Basset - or a Vulcan!) - I'll be able to when I get home.

In the meantime I'll suss out a pic that's somewhere in my archive.

Vulcan - nope - joystick instead of a yoke

The Mosquito wasn't too hard, I've taken that exact same photograph recently. No clue about BEagle's photo though. It suggests something military and not too old, but I truly don't know.

Wrong fuselage colour for Tigercat, which would be dark blue US Navy.
