Flying Displays/Special Events: Guide for Organisers & Participants
With the new season about to start, I thought these on-line documents might be useful references for the display pilots and organisers in this forum.
CAP 403 Flying Displays and Special Events: A Guide to Safety and Administrative Arrangements
The Guide (9th Edition issued 29 November 2002) sets out the safety and administrative procedures to be followed by organisers of and participants in civilian flying displays in the UK.
CAP 403
Amendment 1/04
Correction to Amendment 1/04
Note: They are pdf files so you'll need Adobe Acrobat or similar installed - programme readily available free on the net.

Awesome but Affordable
Tudor,
Many thanks indeed for highlighting these revisions. All DA evaluators automatically get a copy sent from GAD however DA holders and display organisers do not so may be unaware of the changes. This forum is a useful way of bringing such matters to the attention of those who need it.
