These 737's either need to get EDTO certified or get a B757 EDTO down here for Trans Tasman Ops?
|
120 min EDTO surely must be a prerequisite requirement. To rely on the changeable YSNF WX has not had the best of outcomes in the past.
|
The Texel aircraft are all BCFs so no EDTO issues.
|
All quiet from Texel - thought they were getting NZ AOC by 01 May??
|
HomeJames thanks for your personal attack via PM. |

EDTO was knocked back yet again by the NZ CAA for Airwork.

EDTO was knocked back yet again by the NZ CAA for Airwork. or AWK4 as well |
Rumour has it a Memphis based freight operator have given the current operator a short extension to their current contract due to a new entrant unable to provide the required services.
Rumour also hasn’t a certain 737 classic operator now has their EDTO back in place. |

Yes it was.
|
Are you seriously suggesting that Airwork are conducting EDTO flights without appropriate approval?
e.g. AWK 4 and 5 over the last couple of days. Ignorance is bliss! |
Yes it was.
More to come. Is English your second language? |
Airwork has had 120 approval for a couple weeks now I believe.
Has Texel been granted an AOC yet? What work are they doing with the aircraft they have? Apparently they have a Classic in Auckland and an NG on the way currently. |
Well, IF "EDTO was knocked back yet again by the NZ CAA for Airwork", they'd be horribly silly to keep operating as such knowing they'd be right under the spotlight.
