I don’t know about this statement that ‘the morale of Qantas pilots has never been lower’. Seems to me that morale’s taken a bit of a upswing over the last few weeks, for some reason.

Brave little coward who always had advice for everyone & was never wrong.
The staff were always wrong, the customers were always wrong, the court decisions were always wrong.
He stood in front of everyone like a little spoilt brat & threw tantrums worse than a 2 year old.
What a piece of work he is.

Who like a spoilt brat has scurried off and won’t face up to the reality of what he has done. A very dark chapter in the history of Qantas.

The intel I have is that no summons has been issued.

And finally, finally, he is seen for what he is …. the new Christopher Skase. Do one honourable thing, Alan, and hand back the AC.

Unfortunately, a Senate inquiry can't enforce attendance except for representatives of governmnt departments.

Not true. The Senate (and the House) can summons anyone it likes and order anyone it likes to appear before committees and give evidence. However, modern practice has been not to do so in respect of private citizens.

It’s been a while since the Parliament gaoled private citizens for contempt of Parliament, but it has happened. Google “Fitzpatrick and Browne”.

He will have his place in the south of France, his multi million yacht, his house in London, and his main residence in Ireland.
Never going to stay in Australia.

That’s how bullies operate.

Big, strong and tough when they’re in charge and ruining people’s lives …. And then hide like a coward when the reckoning comes.

He will never come back.

Perhaps he can buy a duplex in Dublin, keep one side free for Goyder.

This is gold, they don’t like this at all. No wonder Joyce won’t front up.

You can weave your way out of these meetings, you just need to come prepared with your bs answers. I mean, surely they knew what questions were to be asked. They have no answers and it’s bloody awkward (and hilarious)

Finch just said the average short haul CC wage with allowances was over $100,000 a year. I say bull****. What say anyone else.

He was including allowances in that figure which has nothing to do with salary I might add. He also didn't define what me meant by "short haul" either.

Just love it, they think they are so clever & now their ignorance is being shown up & there is nowhere for them to hide.
All his little tin soldiers being picked off 1 at a time whilst he watches from afar.
