Canadian air Force CH-148 at Little River
A Canadian CH-148 Just landed at Little River Airfield after taking off from HMCS Montreal in the middle of Bass strait and doing a lap of Avalon.
Just dropping in the Little River Pub for dinner maybe?

From the middle of Bass Strait? It must have been a long way there.

They were looking for a cool change but their curiosity killed the cat. Meanwhile, somewhere down on the border a lady and the other man declared help is on the way. Too bad the flying machine had done a shut down, turn off.
OK, I'll shut the door on the way out.

Is the Little River Airstrip Wooloomanata?
Flew into Wooloomanata back in the late 80s or early 90s, great place and the owner had a few vintage aeroplanes as well if I recall correctly.
I can even remember his name, I won’t mention it here though.

Wooloomanata is about 5NM to the west of Little River.
Both are private airfields with sporadic GA traffic which why I find it curious that the Canadian Airforce was operating out of there.
Being evaluated as heavier Taipan replacement maybe?
