Just operate under someone elses AOC with their consent/business deal, and notification to CAA.
Presume Parcelair or Airwork??

Air NZ gets another airline in to fly to Perth I read somewhere here, that will be under ANZ AOC.

Did you read my response, it was in regards to how Airwork do it…you really need to read the posts and replies, before you do a stupid comment!
There was no mention of Texel or foreign operators.

Can anyone enlighten me on what plans Texel Air has in NZ and Oz. From what I gather they are now doing the flying for NZ Post but people here talk about taking on more Airwork work which is all in Oz at present.

Is Texel still hiring, if so what are their pay and conditions along with basing locations. Any info would be appreciated.

Just anecdotal, but it seems likely Texel is after any and all Airwork contracts.

AFAIK the largest, the Toll contract, is up for grabs, and Airwork have had a horrible service delivery due to the continued unreliability of their ancient classics (These are 80s vintage airframes.)

Airwork had the opportunity to upgrade at a time when cargo was booming and aircraft were historically cheap. They chose to wait until the industry came booming back and replacement was undeniably needed, with no way to bridge the gap between now and getting new equipment.

Damn shame, but at least it's happening when there are other opportunities for the people there.

It appears every B737 freight operator is after their work. Nauru have been operating the BN-ML-BN Toll run and Pionair (now owned by ASL) are introducing B737-800 freighters so one would guess they will also be chasing after work for them.

I see another -400F passed through Darwin this week heading to NZ to join Airwork’s fleet.

Or maybe Texel's?

One, eventually, maybe, when it's converted.

Unfortunately, the writing is on the wall for Airwork with Texel (and maybe others) arriving on the scene.

Managerial flaws as listed above with an ageing fleet are not a successful combination and it's a pity because the pilot body is let down by them.

I hear some cold calling has already been initiated with the Airwork crew as TOLL's frustrations increase and negotiations behind closed doors continue.

Look at the wonderfully uniformed opinions and gossip spewed as gospel.

Exceedingly sad seeing some of the posters here wishing to see dozens of pilots put out of work and have their lives tipped upside down. Wonder what their motivational could possibly be? Or who they could possibly work for?

On the contrary, most if not all pilots will be snapped up.

Where do you see anyone "wishing" for anything?

Looking at Texel Air website and freight news with only two 737-800 s on order or delivered I can’t see how they can take all Airworks contracts given Airwork operates a large and diverse network with dozens of aircraft.

Looking at ASL’s website they have 28 B737-800BCF’s and another 12 to join the fleet. They also have 42 B737-400F.

They declare their pay and conditions after you have done interview with them. Employment agreement not published online anywhere.

That certainly puts me off applying. Why would a management team decide that withholding that info is a good idea?

Oh Dook,

If you thought my advice about not posting negatively about a company that you are working for and on probation with was an attack, you have an interesting view on reality.

And Remember. You chose to take this public.

If you kids keep squabbling you’ll lose YouTube for a week and no biscuits in your lunchbox.
